On the edge of a hill surrounded by beautiful mountains in the northern area of the Gualaco valley in Olancho, lies a little village of precious families - Linares. Since 1997, Vaughn and Becky, as well as, many long time friends from San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa have called this place their second home. Through the years many, many others from all over the United States have joined the story with Vaughn and Becky on short term mission trips to Linares. They have loved on, prayed for, laughed with, cried with, worked with, shared with and so many other “withs” that there is no way to list them all. Simply said, God led them to Linares and even though there have been challenging times, God continues to have them serve the villagers of Linares. In 2018 Vaughn and Becky bought land in Linares and continue to see God open doors to bless the village.

This story is amazing. They’ve witnessed countless miracles and seen God touch and change lives. They love sharing their stories and would love the opportunity to share with you this amazing love story that God is writing. Currently they are working on raising funds to install a new water system for the entire village of Linares. Their target is $25,000. This system will bless 42 families and bring clean, safe drinking water to each home. This may sound like an unbelievable goal but they’ve seen God move already and believe He will again.
